Zoës Kitchen to Open Second Charlotte Location

 Midtown Restaurant Offers Mediterranean-inspired Menu with a Variety of Catering Options

Charlotte, N.C. - November 3, 2009 - Zoës Kitchen, a restaurant featuring a wide variety of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, will celebrate the opening of its third North Carolina and second Charlotte location on Wednesday, November 4. Zoës Kitchen is located at 1055 Metropolitan Avenue in the new Metropolitan development in Midtown. Gary Lock will serve as manager at Zoës Kitchen.

Headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., Zoës Kitchen specializes in fast casual dining, catering and take-home meals. Zoës' Midtown Charlotte menu has something for every taste and lifestyle including Zoës Original Chicken Salad Sandwich, Spinach Roll-Ups, Zoës Classic Greek Salad, Grilled Shrimp Salad and the Steak Stack. The restaurant also serves Yaya's Homemade Chocolate Cake and a selection of beer and wine.

"We are excited to be able to share our fresh, made-from-scratch food in this exciting new project in Charlotte," said Greg Dollarhyde, chief executive officer for Zoës Kitchen. "Customers really appreciate the wide variety of options available, whether it's our roll-ups, sandwiches or salads, and the fact that they can always get freshly prepared food at a great value."

Customers can dine in; purchase a variety of fully-prepared dinners for four for takeout; order side dishes by the pound; or take advantage of catering options, which include box lunches, party trays and catered meals delivered straight to your door.

Zoës Kitchen in Midtown will open daily at 10 a.m. and will close at 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Seating is available for approximately 100 people, with a dining room and gorgeous outdoor patio.
